My 3rd Annual Holiday Burpee Challenge

November 25, 2019 | Leave your thoughts »

Yup, it’s that time again! Once all the heavy, rich, and fatty foods descend, I do what I can to combat this a bit and at least feel a little better about all the extra calories.

So, from Thanksgiving to New Year’s, I’ll be doing 1000 burpees and I challenge you to join too!

You can do 30 burpees for 30 days, or 50 burpees for 20 days (what I usually do, since it’s a busy time of year), or any other combo you like—as long as you hit the goal of 1000 by 12/31.

I created a public forum where we can all track our progress, because accountability and knowing others are suffering…er, pushing themselves…always helps!

Even if you’re a total beginner with this exercise, it should take less than 10 minutes each day you exercise.

One of the reasons I enjoy this challenge is to see how my endurance and strength builds over time. On the first few days, I might only be able to do 10 burpees in one set, but by the end, I might have doubled or even tripled the amount I can do before I need a short break. It’s great to see progress!

The burn starts Thursday!

Join the Challenge!
